3-D Thursday And Time For a Sunflower Treat Bag

Hi everyone and welcome to another round of 3-D Thursday.  This weeks cute project is brought to you by our creative team member Jennifer Gulch.  She has created a beautiful Sunflower Treat Bag that would make any friend or coworker's day for sure when given as a gift.
Such a cute little bag!  It's a little piece of art isn't it?  This project uses one of Stampin' Up!s petite Cafe' Bags which are now retired, but can be found on the clearance rack.  Using some of our Painted Autumn DSP along with the stamp set Painted Harvest, Jenn altered the bag into a cute little show piece.
You will learn how to make a rosette like the one shown in the picture and other great tips as well.  Other bags could also be used in place of this one and just alter up the pattern to make it your own.  Below you will find a FREE downloadable Project Sheet that list all the how to's and what's used to make this fun project.  Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

3-D Thursday Is Here With An "Eye" Appealing Treat!

Hi everyone! and welcome to this weeks 3-D Thursday.  I'm so glad you popped in to see the fun project we have for you today.   If you are joining us for the first time, then let me tell you that our group is made up of four Stampin' Up! Demonstrators that loved to create and share.  Thus we decided to form a team and bring you a new project every Thursday created by a team member with a Free! project worksheet you can download.  I'm pretty excited about this week because it's my turn to be the designer.
When holidays come around I always have so much fun browsing the candy aisle for fun treats.  I was at our local Walmart the other day and found some Reese's Eyeballs!  I was so excited!  I knew right then that would be my next project for 3-D Thursday.  So here is my...
 Alien Eyeball Treat!
I had so much fun making this treat.  Smiling all the while.  It's a matchbook treat box with a diecut hole for the eyeball to look out through.  There are so many different kinds of one eyed creatures you could make with the candy and some of Stampin' Up!'s wonderful Thinlits and dies.
Here's a picture of the inside.  I love the new In-color Lemon Lime Twist.  It's a wonderful color that kinda glows.  Perfect for Halloween Treats when paired with Rich Razzleberry and Tangerine Tango.
Oh and the eyeballs are pretty yummy too!  I hope you have enjoyed my project this week and would love for you to order supplies to make your own by going to my online store and use
Hostess Code# DJGNSPQ7.
Place a $35 online order and I will send you one of my adorable Eyeball Treats so you can have a sample.  You will also receive a package of our fun new Black Rhinestone Jewels as a "Thank You" from me for ordering.  A list of products I used is located on the FREE Project Sheet Download.
Have a great day everyone and thanks for stopping by!

Inky Friends Autumn Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to our Inky Friends Autumn Blog Hop featuring stamp sets from Stampin' Ups! new Occasions Mini.  This hop is full of great ideas on how to use the new stamp sets so please hop all the way around to view it all!  If at any time you get lost you can find your bearings at the main Inky Friends Blog.  If you are following the hop in order then you have just arrived from the very creative Mickey Roberts' Blog - Paper Conversation and her beautiful creations featuring the stamp set Painted Harvest.  Don't you just love fall.  The beautiful colors just can't help but make you happy.  The stamp set I chose to showcase was Gourd Goodness which is a 2 step stamp set.  A 2 step stamp set means there is a stamp that has more detail to it and one that has more complete shade to it but both are of the same image.  Hoping that makes since.  It is also a photopolymer stamp set.

Let's take a look at my projects.
For my first project I knew that I wanted to use the stamp with the pair of Pumpkins on it.  So here is my finished project.  For the pumpkins I used the stamp pads Peekaboo Peach and Tangerine Tango.  I also wanted to use the Pinewood Planks emboss folder so I embossed Crumb Cake cardstock using it.  I added just a small stripe of the beautiful new Fall DSP called Printed Autumn.
It took awhile for my second project.  I really just wanted to stamp a few leaves in the color Crumb Cake for the background but it didn't look right.  So I kept on stamping and stamping actually because I was frustrated that I couldn't get it to look like I wanted, but then I really liked how it looked after it was completely stamp leaf over leaf.  Ha! Ha!  So anyway...The colors I used for this card wear Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, & Tangerine Tango.  I used the simple sentiment as my focal point die cutting it out with our Stitched Framelits and then a bigger square after that.  I used the 2 step leaf stamp and added a leaf to the side after fussy cutting it out.
Here's another shot of the card.  I will say it again, I love Fall and all the beautiful colors of the season.  At this time of year I always reflect back on what I am most thankful for in my life, including a loving God, a wonderful family and wonderful friends.
That's all the projects I have for you as I kept the boys longer yesterday than expected.  So we road in the combine with Papaw, shelled corn, shelled beans and hunted for more locust.  Whew!
Now it's time to hop on over to my stampin' friend Cindy Elam's Blog - Heart's Delight Cards and see the wonderful creations she has designed for us.
Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Happy Hopping!
