Quick and Easy Wedding Invitations

Here is a sample of the wedding invitations we made for my niece today. It has three layers. The top layer is vellum, next layer is Very Vanilla, and the third is Bravo Burgandy. The couple is stamped on the vellum. We were able to make 3 of each layer out of one piece of cardstock and vellum. Bottom layer messures 8 1/2" x 3 5/8" in length, middle layer 8" x 3 5/8" and top layer 7 1/2" x 3 5/8". When cutting the cardstock in thirds I did have to cut a little off the last one of each piece. When you do it you'll understand. This invitation will fit inside a business size envelope. Used the stamp set "To Have and To Hold" and Burgandy grosgrain ribbon. We made 130! It took us four hours including a cake break. (It was also my niece's birthday.) I didn't think that was bad at all. She loved them. I was happy that she loved them!

I am sure that your niece is very happy to have an aunt that made her invitations for a special day.
Good job.

I love your invitations! I also made wedding ivites for a friend, but haven't posted them yet. Is the info printed on the vellum or the VV CS?
