Sale-a-bration Blog Hop Stop #3!

Hi everyone and welcome to stop #3 of the Stampin' Addicts Sale-a-bration Blog Hop. There are 21 stops along the Hop filled with great ideas. As you know during Sale-a-bration for every $50 you spend you get to pick a FREE product of your choice out of the flyer!!! If you have been following the Hop in order you have just come from Jennifer's blog where she did a super job creating projects using the Punch Bunch set. The FREE product I am featuring during the Hop is the Ice Cream Parlor DSP & Quick Accents Pack! and I LOVE it!!! So here we go...
The first picture is a group shot of what I made using the Pack. This pack is so much fun! You really don't even have to use stamps with them to make a notecard or two.
I made 3 cards using the pack with a minimum of stamping. I used the Punch Bunch stamp set on two of the cards. Also the 1" and 1 1/4" circle punches, SU markers, the Scallop Trim Border Punch and some of the Ice Cream Parlor Ribbon for accent.I also used Peach Parfait, Pear Pizazz, Pacific Point and Old Olive cardstock to add some background to my cards.
And now for some chocolate. You know me, everything looks and taste better with chocolate. This is a band-aid tin I alter in the Melon Mambo and the Peach Parfait, you know I didn't really like the PP until I put it with the Melon Mambo and now it's really growing on me. Ties different strips of ribbon on the handle, add a couple of York Peppermint patties covered with the DSP and you have a great little gift to give away. Did I say give away? Ok, leave me a comment and I'll select a random winner after the Hop to send the little tin and mints to. (limited to US resident only, please.) I hope you've enjoyed the Hop so far and now it's time to Hop on over to Joyce's blog where she has done a beautiful job of featuring the Digital Content CD which has the Sale-a-Bration items in it!!! Happy hopping.

Close Ups

I thought you might like a close up of my card and the little Hershey nugget holders so...I made this card using one of the new SAB sets "Punch Bunch". My color choices were Poppy Parade and Pear Pizzazz(two of my favorite new in-colors)!
These little boxes were made using the petal punch. It's just too cute! You put two together, I used glue dots. The stamp set I used was Filled with Love♥, and I just had to use some of our new red glitter paper!!! Thanks for stopping by and have a good day!

The Valentine card belongs to Leona Gher who wasn't able to attend but sent a swap for us. Thanks Leona! and then the little bitty treat boxes are mine made with the petal card punch. Aren't the cute, they are so little! I love little things! I got the idea from a demo on Stampin' Connection. I love it when we can get together and stamp! "Stamp Unto Others" after Christmas Party

So last night we had our Christmas get-together. It was soooo nice to get togther and stamp with this wonderful group of stampin' friends. We also had a gift exchange where we either made a gift or altered a gift using SU products. Here's some pictures of what the gifts were. This was Darla's gift that I had for a little while. She altered a goodie jar using our Decor Elements.
Teresa is holding the gift that Lori altered. She took a canvas board and made it into a picture board using SU's fabric and those wonderful brads and lace. We all oood and aughed over it.
Then this is a picture of Kelly holding my gift which is an altered photo album block, which Robin who is sitting beside her ended up with. I don't know how I didn't get a pictue of you holding something Robin? I think it was because there was to much stealing going on at one time. Sorry about that.
Then this is my wonderful upline Darla, she is a great upline and a wonderful friend and she is holding Teri's gift that she made which is a framed stamped picture and verse and a checkbook holder which I ended up with. : )
Teri is holding a candle that Leona altered with a belly band of DSP, a ribbon and a button. We missed you Leona!
Then this is a beautiful tin of tea that Robin alterd with the new DSP from the Occasions mini and yes now I have to get some. It's beautiful!!!
Here's Jenni holding the gift that Kelly brought. She made a cute little Christmas picture using our Decor Elements, ribbon and a button.
And here is Kelly again with Jenni's gift. A little plastic ID scrapbook and mini notebook and pen. Love the bright colors!!!
Here's some pictures of my altered box. Not my best work, and it's was harder to do than I thought it would be. I purchased these a couple of years ago from an on-line store and YES I bought them all.
It comes with 5 different little pull set of eight sleeves. The front and back of the box has glass windows and you can add photos or whatever to them.
Top view of the box. Thanks for stopping by and I'll try and get posted the shoebox swaps tomorrow. It was so fun to get together and stamp with all of you last night! Hope to see you soon.
