Stampin' Addicts Sale-A-Bration Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stampin' Addicts Sale-A-Bration Blog Hop.  Sale-A-Bration is my favorite time of the year!  Why?  Because for every $50 in Stampin' Up! products you buy you get to pick a FREE product from the SAB flyer.  WOHOO!  I love FREE stuff!  Ok back to business, there are nine stops on this Hop and if you are following the Hop in order then you have just arrived from Betty's Blog where she wow'd us with her beautiful creative projects featuring the stamp set Flowering Fields.  Didn't she do a super job!  The stamp set I chose to feature is Honeycomb Happiness.
This is such a fun stamp set and paired with the new DSP called Birthday Bouquet from the new Occasions Mini makes for a super cute card.  Cardstock and ink colors I used were Mint Macaron, Blushing Bride, Soft Suede & Whisper White.
I stepped it up just a little bit for this second card and added one of our fun Honeycomb Embellishments from the new Occasions mini to my ice cream cone.  I also added a couple of Dazzling Diamonds little hearts that I punch out using our Heart Boarder Punch.
The Honeycomb Embellishments come with adhesive on both back sides of the fan, so if you were to mail this I would adhere it on one side and let the recipient adhere the other side of it.  Thanks for stopping by and now it's time to Hop on over to Rhonda's Blog and see the funtastic projects she has made using the stamp set Sky Is The Limit.  Happy Hopping!

Stampin' Friends Blog Hop December

Happy Thursday!  Welcome to the Stampin' Friends December Blog Hop!  There are 3 guest bloggers this month and  I am super excited to be one of them.  Other guest bloggers for the month of December are - Maria Willis and Barbara Welch.   Be sure to check out all the great blogs for this month's Hop!
If you are following the Hop in order you have just arrived from Andrea Pancrazio's Blog.  What great projects she shared with us! There are 13 stops along the Hop so I hope you will join us for all of them.
Christmas is my favorite time of year so I was really happy to be chosen to join in on this Hop.  So let's get on to my projects.
I chose to use the stamp set "Peaceful Pines" and the Framlit Dies "Perfect Pines" from Stampin' Up! for my projects.
A closer view of my card shows that I used the dryer sheet technique with some Dazzling Diamonds Glitter to give the background a softer background.  First I stamped the trees in Mossy Meadow ink and stamped off every other tree.  Then added a dryer sheet that had been sprayed with spray adhesive then added the glitter on top.  I layered a strip of Mossy Meadow behind it and then Real Red then finally onto a Crumb Cake cardbase.  I then added focal point, a tree with some dimensionals to make it stand out a little more.
For my 3-D Project I chose to make a little treat holder that can easily hang from a tree or be used to tie on a special present.  I used one of the mini Tic Tac containers in mine.  Starting with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch I made a back for my holder then added a little box to the front of it.  I made some fun shred by cutting real skinny strips of cardstock and then wadding it up.  Adding some fun Polka Dot DSP adds some color to the project.  I freyed some wide burlap ribbon and used some of those pieces for my ribbon.  (I love the texture of freyed ribbon)
Thank you for stopping by to check out my projects.
Time for a Give-Away!
My favorite Holiday is Valentine's Day.  I have always loved making and collecting Valentine's.  Good luck!
Now it's time to hop on over to Lisa Altman's Blog and see what fun projects she has made to share with us.

Here is a list of all the bloggers and their blogs that are included in December's Stampin Friends Hop.

November Monthly Stamp Group

Thanks to everyone that came out to the farm last night for some crafty fun. Thank you to Tracy for hosting and making such yummy food for us to eat. Here is a picture of what went on last night. I made a bigger version of the Santa Pants and put some cardmaking goodies in it for Tracy. The little luminary was also for her and I made 2 others for Door Prizes. Everyone who came made the Star Santa Ornament and the 2 cards. The window card idea came from the mini Holiday catty and the other was a cas from Mary Fish, although I added a paper star instead of a button.
Thanks for looking! If you would like to have one of the window cards, please leave me a comment and I will pick a winner. Have a great day!

Christmas Stamp Camp Projects

Here are some more pictures of what we made at our Christmas Stamp Camp. So thankful for all the many talented demos that share their creativity with the rest of us demos. I would sometimes be lost without their ideas to help me out. Also a big Thank you to Shannon and Kelly for helping me with the camp this weekend. We had 41 stampers and there is no way I could have done it without their help.
We offered a total of 12 projects to make.
These were my projects.  The snowman card was a direct cas of a card made from Georgeann Manning and the Santa Pants box came from a tutorial of Tami Whites, which I tweaked some.  The tree card is my version of a non SU card I found on Pinterest and the last of the 4 was a I'm running out a time gotta get it done card.  Whew!  But I liked how it turned out.
 These are Kelly's projects.
and these are Shannon's projects.
Thanks for stopping by and have a stamperific day!

Stampin' Addicts Winter Blog Hop Stop #2!

Hello!  Welcome to Stampin' Addicts Winter Holiday Blog Hop.  We are so excited that you have decided to join us for a fun filled hop featuring Stampin' Up! Winter merchandise from the Holiday Catalog.  If you are following the "Hop" in order then you have just arrived from Stop #1 which was Rhonda's Blog: The Stampin' Bunny.  She featured the stamp set Cozy Christmas and the Home for Christmas DSP.  She did such a beautiful job on her projects.  This "Hop" has a total of 11 stops so I do hope you will stay and check them all out.  The stamp set I am featuring is called Happy Scenes and can be bundled with the framelits set called Hearth and Home for a 15% savings.  I will be featuring them together for the "Hop"
I had a lot of fun with this set as you can see in my group shot of projects.
My first card I chose to make was a simple card.  I used the pine tree stamp and the Let It Snow stamp. I love the photopolymer stamps, the way you can see through them and also how you can bend them into a different shape.  For instance like I did the Let It Snow stamp.  It is a straight line stamp but I was able to move it to make it more whimsical.  And I love how it turned out!
My second project is this fun card.  Now I don't know that I will make a ton of these but I bet my grandsons will like it.  It was a lot of fun to make but did take a couple of hours.  I turned the window on it's side to make a wider window.  There was some fussy cutting involved in this one also.  I stamped the tree on some of the "Home For Christmas" DSP and also cut out one of the cute santa's from that DSP and put him looking in the window.  The saying is from the stamp set "Oh What Fun".
When I saw this window image I immediately thought of how cute it would be as a luminary.  I cut 2 images out and added a piece of vellum between them that I had stamp the pine trees on in the Archival Black.  I made a stand for it using the 2 1/2" circle punch, then fussy cut a couple of poinsettias from the same DSP I used in my second project and also added a pretty gold glitter ribbon to the side of it.
I hope I have given you a little bit of inspiration today.  Thank you so much for stopping by and now it's time to head on over to Betty's BlogKitty Stamp and see the beautiful and inspiring projects that she has created for us.  See you next time!

Stampin' Addicts Fall Holiday Blog Hop

Hi Stampers! and welcome to the Stampin' Addicts Fall Holiday Blog Hop.  Stampin' Up! had really done a super job with the new Holiday Mini Catalog that has just been released and customers can start ordering from it on September 1st!  Hopefully checking out the blog hop will help you decide on some products to get you started on your way to some crafty fun.  We will also be doing a Winter Holiday Blog Hop soon so be sure to watch for that.   There are 7 stops in the hop and if you are hopping in order then you have just arrived from Rhonda's blog The Stampin' Bunny where she did a beautiful job showcasing "Among The Branches" stamp set.  Great job Rhonda!  Now let me tell you a little about the stamp set I am showcasing.  It is called "A Little Something" bundled with the "Square Pillow Box" Thinlits Dies makes for some great crafting.  So let's get started!
Oh this Holiday mini is jammed packed with so many fun things!!!  For my first project I decided to go with a square card.  Using Old Olive as my base I then added another layer embossed with our new Woodland folder adding the Grateful For You saying from the stamp set I chose with a little of the Into The Woods DSP, topped of with a burlap and gold twine bow, and accented with an acorn I made using the new Acorn punch!  So much new fun stuff!  One fun little tip - I used the Lovely Lace emboss folder for my acorn top.
Project #2 - Thinking of you Actually a very simple card.  Using Mossy Meadow for my background I then added a piece of the Into the Woods DSP For some color layered behind one of our doilies.  I used the Leaf framlit die from Square Pillow Box Framlits collection.  I then added some scraps of colored cardstock behind it.
Project #3  "A Little Something For You" Pillow Box  The box itself was made with Mossy Meadow cardstock and then I added a few of the stamped leaves in the same color.  A bellyband of the Into the Woods DSP and some more layers of other colors with a little gold Glimmer Paper and topped off with the saying.  I will say I think one of my favorite products from the big catalog is the Triple banner punch.  It makes 3 different sizes of banner tips and I think I used that punch in all of my projects.
My last projects is a fun little treat bag of candy bones.  Aren't they super cute!  and they are good too. lol  I used the Tag Punch for my saying and also another tag with spiders stamped on it.  Added a bit of the Black Glimmer Paper and a bit of Spider Web doily, topped off with a silver sequin and a silver cord bow makes a perfect little treat for any little goblin.  (I purchased the Candy Bones in a beaker at Cracker Barrel just in case you want to know.)  I had so much fun playing with this stamp set and framlits set.  I hope you enjoyed viewing my projects.  Now it's time to "hop" on over to Yapha's blog Yapha Mason.com and view the beautiful projects she has created using the Lighthearted Leaves Stamp Set.  Thanks for stopping by and Happy Hopping!
