You're Egg-Stra Special!
Havin' a lot of fun making these. Thanks to Sam Hammond Donald for the UTube video. I made mine a bit shorter. Length of mine started out at 9". Was able to put 8 chocolate eggs inside. Would make a great hostess gift or door prize. May make some half this size for a stamp camp project. Here is the link to her video if you want to make some.https://www.pinterest.com/pin/420171840220531076/

Monthly Stamp Group Projects for March 2017 and Hostess Gift
I always have fun at my monthly stamp group. These ladies are very dear to my heart as some have been stampin' with me since I first started as a demo some 13+ years ago. Some have left while others have joined us. We always have a great time together and the monthly hostess always feeds us well. Each month I try and make a little something special for the hostess. It's not usually anything big just a little something as a thank you. I also give a fun little sack of cardstock, dsp and envelopes as well. This month it was Arlinda's turn and after I had made the card below, I was inspired to make a little calendar for her using a clear plastic CD holder. Loved how it turned out.
I call this card Casing Julie, as it is a CAS of a card from Julie Davison. I fell in love with it from the moment I saw it. She used Mint Macaroon instead of the Pool Party. I LOVE our little doilies Stampin' Up! has right now in their product offerings.
The second card we made is this fun fold card.
The third thing we made was a bookmark with the 2017 calendar on the back. I always try and have three things for everyone to make. If you live close by you should come and stamp with us or I would love to come to your house and stamp with you and your friends. Thanks for looking and have a wonderful day!

Stampin Friends March Blog Hop - Easter
Welcome to the Stampin Friends Easter Blog Hop. Don't forget to hop all the way through so you can see everyone's wonderful creations!
This month we have two amazing guest hoppers, so be sure and check them and their blogs out.

Let's get started with my projects...
I actually made the little 3D basket first and then the card, but we will start with the card first.
I wanted my card for the hop to look like an Easter Basket so I sketched out what I wanted it to look like. After doing that starting with Crumb Cake cardstock I used our Oval Framelits for the handle, and then added some length to the sides. I then embossed the basket itself using the Festive Emboss folder. I then used the Sweet Sugarplum Stampin Write marker to add some color to the streamers on the basket. I layered 2 strips to the top and bottom of the basket for depth and then sponged all over with Crumb Cake Ink. I added colorful eggs I had cut out again using the Oval framelits.
The little basket was made using the Basket Builder Framelit dies.
To make the basket 3D I cut out 2 of the baskets and then connected them together with a piece of cardstock making it a real little basket. I then sponged all over with Crumb Cake ink. I used Sweet Sugarplum for the accent colors. I am so glad you stopped by and now it's time to continue on the hop. Thanks for looking and have a great day!
Continue on the hop by clicking on the names below. To help you remember where you are I'm Twila Davis. Happy Hopping!!!

Stamp Review Crew - Rose Wonder
Hello and welcome to another addition of the Stamp Review Crew Hops. This time we are featuring the stamp set Rose Wonder. While I am not to fond of the Big Rose stamp in this set I do LOVE all the variety of sayings it has in it. The stamp set also includes matching Thinlets.
If you ever want to go back and see all the wonderful creations we have made featuring this set you can go to the Stamp Review Crew permalink : Rose Wonder and find all of them there. So if you have been following the Hop in order you have just arrived from Micky Roberts' blog where she shared her crafty take on this stamp set. And if you would like to take another look you can click on the button below and go back to her blog.
Now it's time to show you what I have created using this set.
Here is the group. Let's take a closer look at each of them.
As I said I love all the sentiments in this stamp set as they cover every occasion. My first card could be a get well or a sympathy card. I heat embossed 3 of the smaller flower and 2 of the stems of leaves with Black emboss powder. The flowers onto WW cardstock and colored them in with the Bermuda Blue Stamp and Write Marker. The leaves were embossed onto Crumb Cake. I then fussy cut them out and added them to the card with dimensionals adding a pearl to the centers to make them pop. I used the Oval Stitched Framlits to set off the saying and added a scallop oval of black to draw more attention to it. I placed these on a Crumb Cake background embossed with our Brickwall folder and set it all against a black backdrop.
For my second project I chose to use a Bermuda Bay Rose cut out with the Rose Thinlet die. This time I used the Circle Stitched Framlets and Scallop Circle Thinlets for my cardstock. I also used the Birthday Saying and used the frame Thinlet from the Rose Thinlet dies, and also the Petal Burst background emboss folder. Finished it off with a simply white ribbon bow.
For my last project I chose to make a free standing Post-a-Note holder. Using some of the same products as listed above and some of the Bermuda Bay DSP. Thanks so much for stopping by and now it's time to hop on over to Kelly Kent's Blog and see what beautiful things she has in store for us.
