The Stamp Review Crew - Carols Of Christmas Bonus Hop

Hello and welcome to The Stamp Review Crew Bonus Blog Hop featuring the upcoming new stamp set Carols Of Christmas from our Holiday Catalog.  Customers can begin to purchase the stamp set or bundle as of August 1st, which is a month before the Holiday Catalog launches!  The Stamp Review Crew is made up of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world.  Each hop we focus on one stamp set and everyone uses that set to create a project or two so that you get a lot of wonderful ideas on how to use the set.  At anytime you can go to the permalink and view all of them there after the hop.  There are 7 stops on this hop, so please join us!

If you are hopping in order than you have just arrived from the very talented Dawn Tidds Blog: Tiddbits From Dawn.  Love her work!
So let's get on with the project I created for the hop.
The moment I saw this new Christmas set and the "Deck The Halls" stamp I started humming the words to the song.  Thinking I could use my new large sheet music stamp for an accent I quickly went to work to create this card.
The Holly emboss folder also added a great texture to the background.  I had bought our new fun little greenery wreaths and thought it was the perfect finishing touch to my card.
These cute little wreaths come in a pack of 12 and you can decorate them anyway you wish.  I used the bow from the Holly Berry Builder Punch.  I created a 3D look by adding more pieces to it,  The little berries were punched out from the Cookie Cutter Builder Punch.
I hope you have enjoy my fun little project and now it's time to hop on over to the very talented Tanya Boser and see her wonderful creations using this stamp set on her blog: Tinkerin In Ink.

Stampin Friends July Blog Hop - No Rules

Hello Stampers!  Welcome to this month's Stampin Friends Blog Hop.  This month is a No Rules Hop so we can create whatever we want.  Such a fun variety of projects to view and gain some great ideas from.  If you are following the hop in order then you have just arrived from the creative Lana Staab's Blog.  There are nine stops on the hop, so I do hope you will join us and hop all the way around.  Here are my projects for the hop.
I have been having a lot of fun making this fold out card.  The idea came from another Demo.  I cut down the size to fit our 2 1/2" punch.
After you open it up and unfold it, it's just a fun Wow!
Reminds me a little of a corner of a room.
My 3D project for the hop is a double Hershey nugget holder.  Again I got the idea from a fellow demo who made the cutest little Nugget holder for just one using Stampin' Up!s Envelope Punch Board.  It was so darn cute, I thought for my monthly meeting we could make a double one.
I wanted the ribbon to resemble a Daisy thus the Crushed Curry Twine on the top.  If you have a good imagination it's not to bad, right?  Now it's time to hop on over to crafty Lynn Streifert's blog and see what fun things she has created for us.  Thanks so much for stopping by and have a good day!

It's 3D Thursday - My Turn!

Hello and welcome to this week's FREE 3-D Thursday's Project Share.  This month's share from me is a sweet little mini purse.  Earlier this month I had created this same bag for a blog hop.   I had so many of you wanting directions on how to make it, I thought it would make a great 3D Thursday project share.  I hop you enjoy it!
This sweet little paper purse is the perfect size to tuck a gift card and maybe some chocolates down inside.  It measures about 2 1/2" x 4 1/2" x 1 1/2" overall including the straps.  I chose our new In Color Tranquil Tide for my bags color and with the matching Designer Series Paper it turned out beautiful.  It doesn't take much cardstock and DSP to make either.  I love that Stampin' Up! has in their inventory these super cute Itty Bitty bows in our new In Colors.  Please be sure and grab the instruction sheet on how to create your own Mini Paper Purse.
To order any of the products listed in my project sheet to make your mini purse please go to my online store by clicking on the "Shop Now" Button on the left hand side of the screen and enjoy shopping from the comfort of your own home.  Have a good day! and see you next Thursday!

Inky Friends New In Color Blog Hop - Fresh Fig

Hello! and welcome to the Inky Friends New In Color Blog Hop featuring the five new colors that Stampin' Up! has chosen as "in" colors for the next two years.  If you are following the hop in order then you have just arrived from the very creative Betty Traciak's blog where she featured the new In Color "Berry Burst".  She did a super job showcasing the color.  There are 8 stops on the hop and if you get lost you can go to our home page Inky Friends and get back on track.  I'm up next so let's take a look at my projects which were suppose to be featuring the new In Color "Fresh Fig".  As I started adding my pictures of projects I realized I had used "Tranquil Tide" instead.  My triplet grandsons and I have been busy this week catching frogs and toads so I guess the color green is on my mind.  I apologize to my Inky Friends for my mistake.
I am totally in love with all the new In Colors in the new annual Stampin' Up! catalog.  Tranquil Tide is such a beautiful green.  What a wonderful gift set this would make for a very special friend.  I'm sure some chocolates would be a great along with a gift card tucked in to this little pusre.
My first project features some of the new In Color DSP to match the cardstock and ink.  I also used some of the new washi tape in matching color too.  For my stamped image I used the fun hostess set, "You're Delightful".  This stamp set has a lot of possibilities.  Here's a tip, never snack on potato chips while making a card.  Crumbs leave grease marks, but can be covered up by using extra washi tape.  Thus the little strip of washi tape in the top left corner.
I'm sure some chocolates would be a great along with a gift card tucked in to this little purse.  I've been making a lot of these paper purses in all sizes lately.  Stampin' Up! has some cute little already made mini bows in In Colors ready to add to your creations.
My final project is a wintery one.  Using the "Lovely As A Tree" stamp set, I inked up the biggest pine tree and stamped on Whisper White cardstock.  Using the Oval Framlits, "Gently Falling" emboss folder, helped to give the tree a focal point.  I added some of our new Silver Metallic Edged ribbon to finish off the card.   This color makes a beautiful blue spruce tree.  I hope you have enjoyed my projects and now it's time to hop on over to the very talented Rhonda Griffen's Blog where she created some projects using the new In Color Limen Lime Twist.  Have a great day!

Stamp Review Crew - Coffee Cafe

Welcome to another Stamp Review Crew Hop.  This time featuring the stamp set Coffee Cafe.  As always there is a main link to the Stamp Review Crew blog that you can go to later to view all the wonderful creations the group has made during this hop.  You can find it here.  This set also has a matching set of thinlits and is a very fun set to play with.  There is also a pack of matching DSP to go with it.
There are 13 stops on the hop so be sure and check them all out.  If you have been following the hop in order then you have just arrived from the very talented Linda Callhan's BlogStampin' Seasons.  She did a wonderful job showcasing the stamp set.
Now it's time to show you my creations.
Although I am not a coffee drinker this set was one of the first sets I bought.  It's just such a fun set to play around with and has lots of possibilities.  I decided to make some cupcake cards from the stamp set and dies.  Stampin' Up! now has Embossing Paste in it's inventory and it can be dyed with our reinkers to match our colors.  I added some Soft Sky to some and then spread it out on some Whisper White cardstock to dry.  After it was dry I then die cut it with the whip cream thinlit to use as my cupcake icing.

Here's a closeup shot.  It really looks like icing.  I used the "straw" stamp to make lines on my cupcake paper, it sorta worked, right?  I then added some of our beautiful new Copper Trim ribbon to my card to finish it off.
For my second cupcake card I used a different layout.  Using the fun Coffee Break DSP makes cards a snap to create.  I hope you have enjoyed viewing my creations as much I as did making them for you.  Now it's time to hop on over to the ever creative Kelly Kent's Blog: My Paper Craft Journey.
Have a good day and thank you for stopping by!
