Sale-A-Bration Blog Tour Stop # 21!

Welcome to the Stampin' Addicts SAB Blog Hop, each blog will be featuring different products from the free items available to you when you order during Sale-A-Bration. If you are traveling forward in the blog hop you just came from Heidi's blog Running w Scissors Stamper. She did such a super job showing the stamp set "Things I Love". What a great variety of projects, Heidi! I will be showcasing the stamp set "Very Thankful". It is the Ronald McDonald stamp set for this year and every time one is purchase SU donates $2.00 to Ronald McDonald House Charities. It can be found on the very last page of the big catty. In case you didn't know this year Stampin' Up! will be letting you pick from a limited list (on the last page of the SAB brochure) of stamp sets from the big Idea Book and Catalog and this one just happens to be on the list. There are also 6 wow products (stamps, a punch, and paper) in the SAB brochure available only through March 31st, 2010.*****Don't forget to check back after January 18th for the how-tos on the different projects I created.
The first couple of projects features the Turtle stamp and the Little Boy w/heart stamp. I chose to change the stamps a little bit. The turtle stamp had a "thank you" at the base of the turtle and I cut it off and mounted it on the side of the wooden block so I didin't have to use it all the time. Also I did not color in the "thank you" on the little boy's heart, but instead wrote "I love you" on the heart. The turtle box is made from the SU die Bitty Box and holds a Giradelli chocolate perfect! The little boy is covering a flat sucker.
The next 3 cards are "Thank you" cards. This is a pretty card using the peacock stamp and also one of SU's new punches that you can get for FREE w/ of $50 purchase. How fun!
This card is pretty much a CASE from the card shown in the big catty. I just love this color combo. Old Olive DSP, Chocolate Chip, and Kraft for the cardbase.
Last just a simple little "Thank you". No bells or whistles just a little thanks.
Next on the blog hop is Heather's blog, Candle with Two Ends. She will be showing you projects created with the stamp "Vintage Labels" (one of my favorites). So hop on over and see what she has instore for us. I hope you enjoyed seeing the projects made with the products that you can get free with a $50.00 purchase during Sale-A- Bration.
Contact your demo to find out how.
What's that you said, you want some Blog Candy! Ok leave me a comment and the winner will receive the "little turtle box and sucker". How's that. Hey, thanks for hopping with us this weekend and come back and "stamp a little longer" with me.

Great Ideas! And also a good reminder about customizing the stamps when you mount them. I also wanted to point out that I LOVED how you photographed your cards so crisp and with the DSP background. Really made the project stand out. Very creative!

Oh Twila, these are cute, cute, cute!

The peacock's a stunner, but I think my favorite is the last one--so simple and so sweet. Just perfect for a thank you note. . . .

Love the color and the simplicity of each of these projects. Really makes them pop! The peacock is so elegant too. I love that SU managed to find an image for everyone in this set from kid cute to Parisian elegance. You did a great job showcaseing the full spectrum.

Hugs from a sister hopper - Jean
