3D Thursday - Patriotic Mini Album

Hello and Happy Thursday everyone! Have I got a fun project for you today. Darla Watson has created a cute little mini album for us using some new Designer Series Paper and Flip Flaps. Oh such a fun project!

Darla used the new Regals 6" x 6" DSP for the red and white stripes.
Stylish Shapes and Mini Alphabet Dies were used for the focal point.
The Flip Flaps are a fun new product we carry for scrapbooking your photos. Sometimes there are more than just a few photos you want to add to a page.
Just look at all the room! Are you ready to make a fun little scrapbook. Just click on the link below to print off the FREE PDF! Use these colors or change it up. The pattern would make up for a cute to hold baby pictures or grandkids too. Now go make one. And if you need some of the Flip Flaps just click on the link below to shop my store.

3D Thursday - Accordion Fold Mini Scrapbook

Welcome back! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. This week was my turn at the craft desk. I've been wanting to do another little scrapbook for sometime now since I got my hands on the new Bee Mine DSP from the upcoming Mini Catalog. I found a fun accordion style one on line so I decided to put my spin on it. So here we go!

This little scrapbook folds up nicely into it's cover and is held secure with a cute little belly band.
Opened up you can see the pages of the fun DSP.
Including the front and backs of the pages, there are a total of 25 pages for you to add pictures to or fun little sayings or embellishments.
It folds back up nicely into the little cover.
Such a cute little project that would make a nice gift. Are you ready to try your hand at it? It's pretty easy and you can use any paper you like. Just click on the link below to print of the FREE PDF.

Want it all?

A Day At The Zoo - Scrapbook Pages

Since I was kinda on a roll the other day I went ahead and did a couple more fun pages of when our triplet grandsons turn two and we all went to the zoo to celebrate the day.
I dug around and found this fun Birthday DSP that had party hats on animals and thought it was perfect for this two page layout!
When you are taking pictures x 3 you sure do end up with a lot.  Taking turns feeding the giraffes.
Here's one more page I did using DSP from the Doodlebug store in Jasper.  I still have a few more pictures of our big outing to do. I think I'm doing pretty good.
Thanks for stopping by and have a crafty day!

Happy National Scrapbook Day!

Hi everyone!  Since today is National Scrapbooking Day I've been doing a little bit of scrapbooking this afternoon.  So far I've completed three pages (no journaling) but that's pretty good for me.  So here's what I've done so far.
I'm so glad I saved some of my 12' x 12" Tempting Turquoise Cardstock.  I took these picture a few years ago of my daughter and niece and their kiddos at the park one day.  I've got triplet grandsons and don't really ever get to add flowers to a page and I think I may have gotten away with it today.
These pictures were taking last year at my mom's home.  She bought little buckets so each of the boys could pick holding one.  My sister was there for a visit too.
Now before I end the post I want to share a little tip with you about the Simply Score.
(It's not just a score board)
If you find it hard to get things straight like I do, I use my SImply Score or other score board and a piece of scrap paper to help line up my letters and pictures. Cheaper than buying one of those rulers. (If you already have one.)
Hey you all, Thanks so much for stopping by to check out what I've been up to!
Have a super crafty day!

My Inky Friends 2018 Holiday Catalog Showcase Blog Hop

Good morning!  Welcome to My Inky Friends 2018 Holiday Catalog Showcase Blog Hop featuring stamp sets from the new Holiday Catalog.  There are eleven stops on the hop so we hope you will take the time to stop at each one to see all the crafty projects we have created for your viewing pleasure.  If you have been following the hop in order then you have just arrived from Mary Haugens Blog - Center Stage Stamping where she showcased the stamp set Wishing You Well.  If you would like to view her projects again you can click on the previous button at the end of the post to take you back there.  The stamp set I am choosing to showcase is called Dashing Deer and it's matching Thinlits Detailed Deer Dies.
I created a 12' x 12' scrap page with a matching card.  Last weekend I attended a scrapbooking retreat and am still kinda on a scrap page kick.
Here's a closeup of the card.  Mossy Meadow, Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake were my cardstock choices.  I used one of the smaller deer from the stamp set and dies and added a sweet little flower from the dies as well.  The Designer Series Paper I chose was Festive Farmhouse and I think it tones down the stamp set a bit to make it more countryish. (If that's a word.)
I sponged around all the piece of cardstock and Designer Series Paper to give it a little more depth.  I used one of the bigger deer for my scrap page and added a couple of the little filigree flowery pieces to the top corners.
The word Christmas was stamped in Mossy Meadow and was from the stamp set Outlined Alphabet.  I hope you have enjoyed my projects and now it's time to hop over to Michelle Roberts Blog - Paper Conversation and see what she has created using the stamp set Beautiful Blizzard.  Click on the Next Blog Button below to hop.
Thanks for stopping by and have a crafty day!

3 - D Thursday Share - My Turn!

Hello, and welcome to 3 - D Thursday!  Each week one of our team members creates a fun project that comes with a FREE downloadable Project Sheet for you, so that you can recreate one of your own.  Today it's my turn!  I have a super fun little scrapbook for you!  Check it out!
One of my favorite things to do is create mini scrapbooks.  Our family had pictures taken last fall and I thought what better way to showcase them then in a little pocket scrapbook I could carry with me.
I made the scrapbook case from an empty Bitty Bow plastic box.  I love when I can take something old or used and recycling it into something new.
The pages for the scrapbook are also recycled from the heavy backing board from any pack of Designer Paper that Stampin' Up! sells.
The color pallet I chose for my project was fall themed.  Using Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, and Garden Green.
The stamped sentiment is from the set Paisleys and Posies.
The leaves were stamped and the diecut using the stamp set Colorful Seasons and matching thinlits.
Be sure and download the FREE project sheet and make your own!

Stampin' Addicts Retiring Stamp Set Blog Hop for 2016

Hello and welcome to another fun Blog Hop featuring creations from my Stampin' Addicts friends and me.  Wondering what a "Hop" is?  Well it's a group of bloggers who have linked their blog posts together so when you click on the next link or previous link it will take you to the next blog or previous blog until you complete the journey back to the original blog you started at.  So you can start anywhere.  If you have been following the "Hop" in order then you have just arrived from Heidi's Blog where she featured the retiring Stamp Set "Everything Eleanor".  Love her creations!
So there are 7 stops on this "Hop" and I am stop #5.  I have chosen the stamp set "Hello Life" and the "Hello Life" kit for my featured projects.
My first project features the kit and stamp set.  This is such a super fun kit to put together and customize any way you want.  I chose to use pictures of my 3 year old triplet grandsons.  I didn't care for the yarn pom-poms that were suppose to be made for the banner at the top so I used my Scallop Circle Punch to make my pom-poms.  I also used the Rotary stamp that is on the retiring list for the boys' names.  The kit comes with all kinds of fun stuff and even extra stuff so you can make more projects...
My second project is just a fun, happy card made with some leftovers from the kit and then stamped with a saying from the stamp set...
So I did some more stuff that make's me happy and created a 12 x 12 scrapbook page using my leftovers from the kit and stamping a bit more with the stamp set.  Again using the Rotary stamp for their names.  And that is all I have for you.  I hope you have enjoyed my projects.  Now it's time to "Hop" on over to Tanya's Blog and see what great ideas she has come up with using the stamp set "Sea Street".  So just click on the box that says Next Blog and it will take you right to her blog.  Thanks again for "Hopping" with us and have a super day!
