3D Thursday - Graceful Greenery Tea Light Holder

Welcome back! This week teammate Darla Watson was at the design desk for us. Oh my and did she create a beauty of a project! And it is so easy to make! Let's check it out!

Darla used some of Stampin' Up!s "Graceful Greenery Specialty Vellum Paper" (164118) to create this beautiful little tea light holder. Lot's of our pretty ribbon always makes a project that more special. Don't you think?
The more ribbon the merrier.
She added a Velcro Dot on the inside top for the closure.
Here's a shot in the dark. lol
and the a front view. I can not wait to make one. It kinda reminds me of a kind of bag-a-lope project. If you are ready to try one just click on the link below for the full FREE PDF.

I'ld love to be your Demonstrator!
I'ld love to have you on my team!
CHECK OUT THIS GREAT DEAL ON THE STARTER KIT DURING OCTOBER!

3D Thursday - Christmas Lantern Ornament

Happy Thanksgiving!  Welcome to this week's round of 3D Thursday.  This week teammate Rick Adkins from over at Rick Adkins.com created a beautiful Christmas Lantern Ornament that holds a tealight.

Rick created this beautiful project using our Giving Gifts Dies #156563 and the Christmas Pinecone Dies #156309.

Here's a close up of the beautiful paper greenery pieces adorning the top of the Lantern.

The handle is attached by our Black Square Brads #155570.

One more picture of the little lantern.  So if you'd like to recreate this project just click on the link below for the FREE PDF.

3D Thursday - Tea Light Gift Box

Welcome to 3D Thursday!  This week teammate Sherri Bishop from Stamping With ShareCroppers was at the creator's desk.   Sherri crafted up a beauty of a gift box for us.  Remember that a FREE PRINTABLE PROJECT SHEET is available at the end of my post. Let's take a look.
I love this elegant looking tealight box and how the flap folds under to cover up the hole in the front.  Sherri used the Blackberry Beauty Ephemera Pack along with our Blackberry Beauty Specialty DSP.
Here's a few close ups...
The sentiment used in this project is from the stamp set Queen Anne's Lace.  If you would like to make Sherri's project just click on the link below to grab the FREE Project Sheet.

3D Thursday Throwback - A Little Cake

Hello, to all on this yet another wet, soggy day in Southern Illinois!  This week is Throwback Thursday so looking back through my projects I though a little cake sounded good this week.  I created a little Birthday Cake using a Tea Light.  A link to FREE directions can be found at the bottom of my post.  Be sure and check that out!
These little tealights are so fun to decorate and make into little cakes.  What a fun way to celebrate someone's special day.
It looks good enough to eat doesn't it.  And when you emboss the cardstock strip that you add around the candle it makes it look even more real.
I also made a sweet little cake box to put the cake in to make it more special for gift giving.  Are you ready to make a little cake?  Below you will find the FREE Direction Link to click on to print of and make your own little cake.  See you next week, where it will be Susan's turn to get crafty.  Can't wait to see what she will have for us!

Valentine Tea Light - Video Tutorial

Good morning!  Thanks for stopping.  Today is kind of an exciting day for me as I was ask to be a guest tutorial designer over at Split Coast Stampers once again.  I jumped at the chance as I love sharing my craftiness with others and enjoy other creations from craft lovers as well on their site.
I've chosen a fun Valentine Themed Project for my Tutorial.  Stampin' Up's! New Occasions Catalog has gone live and there are some beautiful Designer Series Papers in it, like this Valentine one I used for my project called "All My Love".  There are also some beautiful Heart Framelits that I used in the making of my project called "Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies".  A written tutorial for the project can be found here at Split Coast Stampers.  Below is the Video Tutorial for the project.  I hope you enjoy it, and can't wait to see what you come up with!
Below are some more pictures of my project.
If you don't want to make the mat it's cute just like this.
and with the tea light on...
and my favorite!
I hope you enjoyed my video tutorial, and can't wait to see what you come up with!

3D Thursday - A Little Cake

Hi everyone!  So happy to have you stop by today.  I've got a fun little project for you today.
Today is my turn to share a project for the 3D Thursday design team.  I altered a little battery operated tealight into a fun little Birthday Cake and made a matching box to make gift giving a little more special.
These little tealights are so fun to decorate and make into little cakes.  What a fun little gift to give as well as inexpensive.
I used the Garden Trellis Emboss Folder along with the Big Shot to add texture to the side of my little cake.  The little Bermuda Bay Flowers are punched out using the little Tree Builder punch and the little Flower Punch found on it.  I added a platter at the bottom using Peakaboo Peach cardstock.
I've also added directions in the FREE printable Project Sheet found below for this adorable matching cake box so you have the perfect package to give your one of a kind cake in.  The all new Picture Perfect Party 6" x 6" DSP allows for a fun finish to the box.  I do hope you have fun making and creating your own little cake and box.
Have a Crafty day!
