Stampin Friends February Blog Hop - Black, White and Whatever You Like

Welcome to the Stampin Friends Blog Hop!  This months theme is Black, White and Whatever You Like.  If you are following along the Hop in order then you have just arrived from Steph Jandrow's  Blog.  What beautiful creations, wouldn't you agree?
Don't forget to click the next button at the bottom to continue on the Hop with Melissa Thomas' Blog.
This month we have three awesome guest hoppers.
1.  Bibianna Cameron
2.  Maria Willis
3.  Lana Stabb
So let's jump right in and see what I have for you!
I love Black and White.  It seems always to look very elegant even if the projects are simple they still are beautiful.  I chose not to add an accent color for my projects.
When I think of using Black and White weddings seem to come to mind more than anything.  So I created a wedding card.  Products I used for my card: Lovely Lace Embossing Folder, Banner Punch, Circle Thinlets, Detailed Dragon Fly Thinlet Dies (Occasions Mini),  Layering Circle Dies, Dimensionals, Rose Wonder stamp set for the saying, Cardstock - Basic Black & Whisper White, Ink - Archival Basic Black, and although you can not see it I used the (clear) Wink of Stella on the Dragonflies.
My 3-D project is a wedding favor.  This cute little favor would look beautiful at the wedding reception.  A little Curvy Keepsake Box filled with maybe some chocolates?  Keeping with the curves of the box, I curved my little Thank You banner to keep the project flowing.  I also added Wink of Stella to the bigger dragon fly on this project.  uSIng the same products as my card but with addition to the Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlet Die.

Kedin's Valentines

After school yesterday, my great nephew came over to work on his Valentines.  Another Stampin' Up! Demo had shared some that she had made with her nephew and I knew Kyle (Kedin) would  love to make some.
Here's what one of the finished one's looked like.  Stamp sets we used were Jar of Love, Teeny Tiny Wishes, & the retired Rotary Stamp.  Cardstock: Crumb Cake, and Ink: Early Espresso.  We bought the bugs at the Dollar Tree and fixed the to cardstock with Glue Dots.  Then slipped them into clear cello bags.  We did add a small bag of gummy bears to the back side of the valentine.
Kyle (Kedin) had a lot of fun with his valentines before and after.  A trip to McDonalds for supper on the way home was needed of course too.  Thanks so much for stopping by today.
Have a good day!

Stamp Review Crew - Sunshine Sayings

Hello, and welcome to another Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop.  This week we are featuring the stamp set Sunshine Sayings.

This set happens to be one of my favorite sets.  The whimsical flower and sayings just bring a smile to my face.  This set also has a framelit set that goes with it too.  If you ever want to go back and see all the fun things that we have made from this set you can click on this permalink and it will take you to the Stamp Review permalink that showcases all of them.  If you are following the hop in order then you have just arrived from Jessica Williams Blog showcasing her creations using this set.  Now it's time for me to show you what I have come up with.
For my first project I chose to pair the Hello and Sunshine word stamps with the starburst stamp from Kinda Electric.  I also used the smudge stamp to add some clouds.  Colors I used were Pool Party, Crushed Curry and Whisper White.
Trying to think outside the box, I came up with this fun little girl card.  Using the flower stamp I stamped 7 in Crushed Curry, cut them out and using glue dots adhered them to a Blushing Bride card.  Using the stem and leaf stamp and Archival Black stamped a mouth and little nose.  I used the 3/4" Circle punch and the owl punch with Whisper White and Basic Black cardstock to make her eyes using our White Chalk pen to add highlights to her eyes.  I then cut the bottom corners of the card to make the card look more like a face.  Adding a couple of silver bows to her hair I thought made her complete.  Thank you so much for stopping by.  Now it's time to hop on over to Betty Traciak's Blog and see what crafting things she has come up with using this set.
