3D Thursday - Holiday Gnome Treat Holder

Happy Thursday! This week teammate Sherri Everett Bishop from over at Stampin With Share Croppers was at the designer desk.  Sherri crafted up a set of adorable treat holders using Gnome Dies and the Design A Treat Box Dies. Let's check it out!

Oh my, Oh my! Aren't they just adorable!

Here's the Halloween one.
So each one is big enough to hold a small candy bar such as a Reeses treat.

And the Christmas one...

and the Easter one.  They are just too cute!

3D Thursday - Scary Cute Slider Treat Box

Happy Thursday crafty friends!  This week is my turn at the designer's desk.  I crafted up a fun little Halloween Treat Holder that I hope you will love.  Please note that cardstock, DSP, and stamps can be changed to make a box for any occasion.

I made this cute little project using the stamp set Scary Cute (159850) and matching dies from the Holiday Mini.  The box measures about 2" x4" x 1", which is a pretty good size for a treat.  I found some Oreo treat packs and one fits perfectly in it.

The box that holds the treat slides right into the cover box.  The fun DSP I used came from two different packs.  The Halloween paper is from the Host DSP pack named Celebrate Everything (159913) and the Black Gingham from the DSP pack Gingham Cottage.  Such fun papers!!!

A sideview so you can see how the box fits inside the cover.  I used the Very Best Trio Punch (159878) to punch the top two corners of the project.

Love the little die cut bats!  Eeekkk!

3D Thursday - Halloween Luminary

We are thrilled to be back for another season of 3D Thursday were every Thursday our team post a fun 3D project with Free printable directions.   This week teammate Sarah Wills from over at Sarah's Ink Spot  was at the designer desk.   Sarah crafted up a spooky fun Halloween Birdcage Luminary for us.  Lets check out some pictures of her project.

Sarah created her project by using three sets of dies - Birdhouse Dies (158846) for the cage and bird, Scary Silhouettes Dies (159851) for and bats, and the Aspen Tree Dies (159798) for the branch the bird sits on.

For the luminary base Sarah used Basic Black cardstock, then using SU's vellum for the windows.

Spooky fun isn't it?  Now please remember to use only a battery operated tealight for the project, as it is not fireproof.

Another shot in the dark...If you would like to recreate Sarah's project just click on the link below to print off the Free PDF.   Have fun!

3D Thursday Team Blog Hop - Embossed Treat Bags

Welcome back to this season's 3D Thursday!  If you are new to us, we are a group of Stamping Up! Demonstrators that love creating and sharing 3D projects with others for FREE!  We include FREE Tutorials with our projects that we take turns creating each week.
To start off this round we have put together a Blog Hop featuring SU Embossed Treat Bags.  The hop may or may not include a Free PDF put will have supplies listed and simple directions.  Are you ready?  There are 6 stops on the "Hop" and if you have been following the hop in order you have just arrived from Sherri's Blog Stampin' with ShareCroppers.  I love her take on the Embossed Treat Bag didn't you?  So now it's my turn.

I chose to use the stamp set and die bundle Hello Harvest (159644) to alter my bag.

The flowers are attached to a little card that pulls out from behind the pumpkin.   I got the idea from a Outside Triangle Fold Card tutorial that I found on YouTube.   I created my own version of the card for my monthly stamp group and scaled the version down to add to the front of my bag.

Here's a close up.  Anyone else love to color with our Stampin' Blends?  I find it very fun and relaxing.

I love to fray ribbon.  In the tutorial I tell you a little more about how I made this fun little knot of fringe.

I hope you have enjoyed my take on the Embossed Treat Bag.
Here's a quick little tutorial on how I did it.
Just click on the link below for the FREE PDF.

And now it's time to hop over to Sarah's Ink Spot and see what she has crafted up using one of the bags.  I'm sure you will love her creation.  Just click on the button below.
