3D Thursday - Covered Notepad

HaPPy Thursday everyone! This week was my turn at the craft desk. I crafted up a pretty covered notepad using our Floral Delight 12" x 12" DSP (164700) and a 5" x 8" notepad. Let's see what it looks like.

This little cover starts off using two pieces of regular Lemon Lolly Cardstock (161720) cut down to specific measurements. After you make one I promise the second one will go pretty fast.

Here's what it looks like on the inside. The notepad can either be glued down or attached with mini adhesive backed Velcro Dots. You can also add a pocket to the side if you want.

I love this little saying from the stamp set Simply Said (163756).

3D Thursday - Sticky Note / Calendar Holder

Happy Thursday crafty friends! Gosh it's been awhile since I've blogged. So here's what I'm gonna do to try and get my algorithm back up and running. Please leave me a comment on my project today for a chance to win one like it or if you like a certain color let me know that too. This giveaway is only for those living in the United States. Let's get on to the project...This week was my turn at the craft desk for 3D Thursday. I found fun and easy idea online and decided to recreate it and make it using some of our pretty DSP from the new mini called Wildflower Birthday 12 " x 12" Specialty.

This project goes together pretty quickly once you decide what cardstock and patterned paper to use and makes a great little gift. I used Blueberry Bushel for my base cardstock.

It opens up to hod a sticky note pad and a calendar. (I buy my calendars from Vippies Designs.com. ) Here's the link Self Stick Calendars. I really like that they have Holidays and Sundays marked in red.

I stamped the sentiment in the bottom right hand corner in Blueberry Bushel. For the catalog numbers and more info on the stamp set I used along with full Free instructions just click on the link at the end of the post.

3D Thursday - Simple Four Piece Hershey Nugget Carrier

Welcome back to another FREE Thursday Project! How's everyone's week going so far. I can't believe that October is almost over! Where did it go? I've got to get it in gear. With three craft fairs coming up and also a Stamp Camp it's time I get motivated. This week was my turn at the craft desk so I was looking around for a simple holder, for of course chocolate. I came across one on Youtube that Deseree Krumm did and loved how simple it was. So here is my version of it.

The base of it is actually just one piece.

I am in love with this DSP called Sweet Days Of Autumn. (166498)

The back is just as pretty as the front with the bellyband that wraps around.

Hershey Nuggets are always more fun wrapped up. Don't you think?

3D Thursday - Fall Tea Bag and Chocolate Square Holder

Hello crafty friends! It's time for this week's project. Teammate Sarah Wills was at the craft desk crafting up a super fun little Tea Bag / Chocolate Holder using some fun new products.

Sarah used products from our Holiday catalog for her sweet project. By the way did you know we know have scrapbook kits once again? I am so excited about this. Plus I love the DSP that goes along with them that can be purchased separately.

Sweet Days of Autumn 12" x 12" and Sticker Sheet was used for this project.

We also carry memory pockets now and the 3" Flip Flap Memory Protectors was used here.

Such a cute little project that can hold tea, chocolate or you could even put photos in it.

3D Thursday - Altered Dollar Tree Projects

Happy Thursday crafty friends! This week we decided to do something a little special since May has 5 Thursdays in it and it's the last week before we take a break for the summer. We decided to have some fun and check out what Dollar Tree had to offer. and each of us do a project this week. When I walked in through the doors there was a display of Father's Day stuff right in front of me. I spied some wooden blocks, right off the bat for $1.25 each. I bought six as I didn't know if I would spell out a word or decorate one...

I decided to go with just one. I altered the block into a friendship cube by cutting (6) 2 1/2" squares of the new Unbound Beauty 12' x 12" DSP (163372) then attaching them with Liquid Glue to all the sides. I used (3) different designs. I then used an emory board to go around the edges to give it a shabby chic look.

Each side has a different sentiment. Stamps sets I used were Happiest Day (163605), Cheerful Daisies (162390), So Sincere (162283), and Framed Florets (161815)

I stamped the sentiments in Petunia Pop (163811) onto Basic White Cardstock (159276) and cut it out using the next to the smallest Octagon shape. Next I cut out the next largest Shape in Petunia Pop (163801) to back it with and glued them to the Block on all four sides

I added some of the 2024-2026 In Color Shimmer Gems (163781) to each side for a little sparkle. Oh, they are so pretty!

Here's a top view. It needed a little something extra so I dug around in my closet and found some silk flowers. The bigger flowers were white. I was going to mix up some reinker in my spritzer bottle with some alcohol, but I didn't have the Petunia Pop yet. Good gravy! How did that happen? Anyway so I used one of the Small Blending Brushes (160518) and my Petunia Pop Ink Pad to add some color. I thought it turned out pretty good. I made a bow from the Summer Splash Ribbon (163786) and hot glued it to the top along with the flowers.

I have to say I did have a lot of fun altering the wooden block. It's been awhile since I've thought outside the box. I hope you enjoyed my finale project of this round of 3D Thursday.
