3D Thursday - Trash To Treasure Clipboard

Good morning crafty friends.   This week is my turn at the designer's desk.   I crafted up a pretty project using a recycled piece of 12" x 12" piece of cardboard that comes in the packs of our Specialty DSP.  I love to use it instead of throw it away.  Check out my Trash To Treasure Clipboard.  Free directions can be found out the end of my post.

I used the beautiful Expressions In Ink Specialty DSP to cover my cardboard base after I had painted around the edges in white paint.  Using 2 layers of cardboard made it pretty sturdy.

I chose to add a saying at the bottom using the new stamp set, Many Happenings and Message Dies and stamped it in Shaded Spruce.

This is the backside, so if you get tired of the front just remove the Binder Clip and clip the notepad to the other side.  Add a RSVP ink pen with matching DSP put in the tube and it makes a pretty little gift.  Are you ready to craft up a few of these?  Just click on the link below for the FREE PDF.

3D Thursday - Tape Roll Jewelry Box

Good morning crafty friends!

This week is guest designer week again here at 3D Thursday.   Our guest this week is a dear friend of mine, Rhonda Griffin.  You can find more of Rhonda's work over on her blog The Stampin Bunny

I love it when a designer takes something that is easily thrown away and makes something amazing out of it.  Rhonda did just that by altering an empty tape roll into beautiful jewelry boxes!  They are beautiful!  Rhonda found the idea on Splitcoast Stampers but put her own twist on it and thats what crafting is all about.  Let's check out her project!

Aren't the boxes just beautiful.   What a wonderful gift they would make.  Rhonda used our beautiful new Fine Art Floral DSP and Golden Garden Designer Specialty Paper.

Here's what the inside looks like.  Ready to try making your own beautiful jewelry box?  Just click on the link below for a FREE PRINTABLE project sheet!  Need to order supplies to make the project?  Just go to my online store to shop for it all and more.

3D Thursday - Graduation Explosion Card

It's 3D Thursday time! With a FREE Project Sheet!  This week is teammate Sarah Wills from over at Sarah's Ink Spot turn at the craft desk.  Sarah just happens to be the mother of twin girls who are graduating from high school this year and Sarah has the perfect card but I bet she will be making two.

I love the Black, White and Silver combo Sarah used for her project making it a crad for any graduate.  But it could easily be made in school colors for a more personal touch.

The card folds flat for mailing.

Here's an upclose shot of the front flap she has decorated to look like a graduation cap!  Love it!

And the backside where you can sign your name.  Now its your turn to recreate this fun card.  Just click the link below for a full list of supplies and directions.
