Stamp Review Crew - Sunshine Sayings

Hello, and welcome to another Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop.  This week we are featuring the stamp set Sunshine Sayings.

This set happens to be one of my favorite sets.  The whimsical flower and sayings just bring a smile to my face.  This set also has a framelit set that goes with it too.  If you ever want to go back and see all the fun things that we have made from this set you can click on this permalink and it will take you to the Stamp Review permalink that showcases all of them.  If you are following the hop in order then you have just arrived from Jessica Williams Blog showcasing her creations using this set.  Now it's time for me to show you what I have come up with.
For my first project I chose to pair the Hello and Sunshine word stamps with the starburst stamp from Kinda Electric.  I also used the smudge stamp to add some clouds.  Colors I used were Pool Party, Crushed Curry and Whisper White.
Trying to think outside the box, I came up with this fun little girl card.  Using the flower stamp I stamped 7 in Crushed Curry, cut them out and using glue dots adhered them to a Blushing Bride card.  Using the stem and leaf stamp and Archival Black stamped a mouth and little nose.  I used the 3/4" Circle punch and the owl punch with Whisper White and Basic Black cardstock to make her eyes using our White Chalk pen to add highlights to her eyes.  I then cut the bottom corners of the card to make the card look more like a face.  Adding a couple of silver bows to her hair I thought made her complete.  Thank you so much for stopping by.  Now it's time to hop on over to Betty Traciak's Blog and see what crafting things she has come up with using this set.
