Fresh Prints Quick and Easy Cards

I had a lot of fun making these cards today and will probably make more tomorrow.  Super quick and easy, just how I like them.
This is the card that got me started with this set of cards.  I found a great card on Dawn O's blog  and I loved it so much that I just had to case it using different paper.
There was also a card sketch also that should a card like this, so I tried it this way and loved it too.
I had a couple of downline promoting so they are getting this card.  Such fun and easy cards to make using the Fresh Prints DSP Paper pack for $6.95.  You get 48 sheets in the pack, just think of all the cards you could make with it!

Got Happy Mail!

Wishing everyone a very Happy Valentine's Day!  I altered this little mailbox and filled it with Hershey Kisses and donated it along with a SU gift certificate to the Benefit for Denny Hill.  Hope whoever ends up with it enjoys it as much as I did making it.  Have a good day everyone!

Tealight Birthday Cake

I had so much fun last weekend at the annual Scrapbook/Craft Retreat we go to at Camp Illiana.  I took a little bit of everything with me to work on.  When I found out that one of the gals birthday was Saturday I made this for her.  These are so much fun to make a way easy.
Here is what I used to make it:
Sweet Sorbet DSP from the Sale-a-bration flyer
Cardstock: Coastal Cabana & Whisper White
Punches: 1 3/4" Scallop Circle, Scallop Circle, and Circle from Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack
Tiny Pearls from Pearl Basic Jewels
Paper Snips
Glue dots, Multipurpose Liquid Glue
Tealight
*A few tips: Before added the scallop circle to bottom of tealight, place the circle where you want it and firmly rub over the area where the light switch is so it makes a mark, then using the small circle punch, punch a whole so the switch can be seen.  Attach bottom scallop circle with glue dots.
To attach the top scallop circle, using your paper snips pierce the middle of the scallop circle and cut from that point out in 6 directions.  Then cut those little points off.  You can now slide it over the candle tip.  You don't need to add adhesive to it as it stays in place by itself.  Let's see what you can do!  Thanks for stopping by!

Valentines & More Stamp Camp

Here are the 12 projects we made at the last stamp camp we held at the farm.  The first four belong to me and the second four belong to Kelly and the last four were done by Shannon.  I'm so lucky to have help from a couple of my downline, couldn't do it without them.  We usually have between 40 and 50 over our 2 day event so to do it by myself would be a bit overwhelming.  If you have any questions about how something was made, please feel free to email me or leave a comment.

A Little Chocolate Treat

Today I've got a fun little Hershey Kiss Treat Holder for you.  My good friend Sherri Culter and her husband Bill are house parents at The Pinehaven Christian Children's Ranch, out in Montana.  She told me the kids would love to make some Valentines.  This is what I came up with to send her along with the little punch art Love Bug I made last week.  I've got it all package up and ready to go.  I'm sure that she and the kids have fun putting them together!
Here's the measurements for the base.
Hershey Kiss Treat Tent. Cardstock is Coastal Cabana cut at 6 1/2" x 2", scored at 2 3/4" and 3 3/4", then punch the ends with tag punch.

Hello and welcome to the Stampin' Addicts Occasions SAB Blog Hop.  There are 13 different FREE products you can receive for a purchase of $50 worth of Stampin' Up! products.  This Blog Hop will run Friday, January 31 thru Sunday, February 2.  Lot's of time to view all the stops. If you have just started the Hop in order you have just arrived from Paula's Blog where she wowed us with her projects made with the stamp set You're Lovely. There are 14 stops on the hop and I am stop 9.  So if you are just beginning with my blog be sure and hop all the way around till you come back to my blog so you won't miss any of the fantastic projects that have been designed for your viewing pleasure. Oh it's going to be a GREAT HOP!  Super excited!  Ok on to my projects.  For my stop I chose to showcase  the Twisty Treats Kit.
I had a lot of fun trying to think out of the "Bag" on this one. But I'm super excited to show you what I've done with those "treat bags".  So on to my projects.
For my first 2 projects I chose to cut up a bag, half of the bag I used to make 2 roses and the other a skirt for this cute little dress.  The card also uses 2 of the tags from the Twisty Treat Kit.
My 3rd project is a little framed art piece.  I love how the polka dot bag helped to make my background pop.
And last but not least a goodie bag full of cookies.  I used the other polka dot flower I made to top off the bag.  I hope my projects have got the wheels turning in your head as to what you could do with these bags.  Now it's time to hop on over to Mary's Blog and see what beautiful things she has come up with using Heartfelt Banner Kit.
Thanks so much for joining us for the hop.  Have a great day!

Monthly Stamp Group Projects

Here are the projects we made last night during monthly stamp group.  Everyone made the cute "Oh Happy Day" card then they could choose if they wanted to make a cute little treat for their sweetie or one for a sweet friend.  The little treat holders can hold a small hershey bar very easily.  I used the new tag punches to make them.  Super fun and simple.  I will post directions on how to make them in a few days.  (Depends on how busy 3 little boys are)  Have a great day!  See ya!

Happy Birthday "CAS" Mom

I received this beautiful card Saturday in the mail for my birthday from Lois Henderson over at Split Coast Stampers.  Such a pretty happy card.  I loved it!  Inside the card was a piece of paper with this saying typed on it.
I didn't sign this card before I sent it off to you,
instead it holds my warmest thoughts invisible, but true.
So if you find you need to brighten someone's day,
then take this card and sign it and send it on it's way.
I thought, what a great idea and a nice little saying that I might want to put in a card sometime or maybe one of my online friends might want to use it to.  And that's why I'm sharing it with you.
Anyway back to my story, my mom's birthday was Saturday and I loved the card Lois sent me so much I thought I would CAS it and give one to my mom, so here's mine.
I changed up the color palette and made mine Coastal Cabana.  I'm really thinking that this is my new favorite and go to color.  Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

First Stampin' Up! Card I Ever Made

I've been trying to clean out my Stamp Room and came across this card.  It's the first card I ever made using Stampin' Up! products.  Made me smile remembering going to my first workshop and making a new friend who would become my upline in just 6 months after becoming hooked. lol  That was 10 years ago and although my upline is no longer active we stay in touch and remain friends.  I think that's one of the great things about Stampin' Up! it's not just about selling stamps, it's about meeting and making new friends.  Have you made a new friend lately?  Hope you have a great day and come back and see me again so we can stamp a little longer.:)

Downline Christmas Gifts

Here are some of the little coffee cups I altered and gave as gifts to my downline at my after Christmas Party.  The cups are so fun to alter and fix up.  I love the saying from the stamp I used for the lid which is from the new Starburst Sayings in the new Occasions mini.  I bought the cups and lids from the online store here http://www.webstaurantstore.com/choice-4-oz-paper-hot-cup-white-50-pack/9994W.html.  Have a good day!

twINKing fingers Christmas party

Last Friday night I had my downline party at the farm.  The weather did hold off until later that night so everyone was able to enjoy the party.  Here's some pictures of those that participated in the gift exchange.  And there isn't a picture of me with Patti's gift because my camera battery decided it didn't want to live anymore. lol  We also did a shoebox swap and Shelley and her daughter joined us for that but they had to leave early.  I will post pictures of our swaps tomorrow.  Enjoy the pictures and have a stamperific day!!!
Leona with Teresa's gift.  (a beautiful butterfly framed art piece.  (Leona and Teresa are sidelines of mine that I invite to my meetings since our upline has quit.)
Robin with my gift.  (an altered dvd tin, has a notepad and pen to match inside)
Patti with Robin's gift.  (a pretty frame with a heart banner)
Kelly with Leona's gift.  (A yankee candle with SU ribbon added to pretty it up.)
Teresa with Kelly's gift.  (a beautiful altered canning jar and it just happens to be the colors that Teresa loves.)
I will have to get someone to take a picture of me with the beautiful scarf that Patti made, I love it!
