3D Thursday - Patriotic Hershey Nugget Treat Box

 

Happy Thursday, Crafty Friends! My turn at the craft desk this week, so I've got one more Patriotic Project for you. I'm kinda excited about this one because it is so easy to make. My grandkids made some with no problem at all. Let's check it out!

It's a set of four Hershey Nuggets altered to look like a flag.

The set fits nicely in the handmade box and slides into a cello bag easily. Tied at the top with a bow of ribbon finishes it off. 

The little Puffy Stars are the perfect size!

It doesn't matter if your lines aren't perfect, it's just a fun little treat. If you chose to not put it in a bag it still looks great. What a fun little table favor! Now remember when I was saying this would be a great project for the kids to do with you or even at a 4th of July party? I've got an easier version of the box you can make. 3D Thursday - Patriotic Fireworks Home Decor

 

Happy Thursday, crafty friends! Welcome back to another FREE 3D Project! This week was my turn at the craft desk. Our country's upcoming 250th Birthday has been on my mind lately and so I wanted to do something fun for 4th of July. What better than a set of firecrackers! Let's get crackin', shall we?

This set of three firecrackers measures 7 1/2" at the tallest and 6" wide. Perfect to set on a shelf or on the table. 

Each box is 2" square.

It's just as cute from the back so could easily sit on a table too.

I poked holes through the box tops with our Paper Snips (which are back in the catalog!) and added some 3/8" twine for the wicks.

And added a bigger Red Star with a saying written with our new White Gel Pen!!! Yeah so excited to have those back!

Red, White and Blue we love you!

3D Thursday - Patriotic Rosettes

This week's 3D Thursday Project was created by teammate Darla Watson from over at Scrap Happens Here with Darla.  Darla crafted up a decorative set of red, white, & blue rosettes to add to your 4th of July decor.

What a pretty little decor set, don't you think?  They are super simple to make with the Simply Score Tool.  Just follow the post to the bottom for the FREE PDF. 

The basic rosettes are made using the new Lovely Linen and Vellum Layering Designs.

3D Thursday - Patriotic Holiday Luminary

Before we get started with our project this week I'd like to take a minute of your time to ask you to keep teammate Debbie Henderson in your thoughts and prayers in the days to come.  Debbie's husband Dave, passed away after a 3 year battle with cancer this past week.  

This week we have a fun and festive 4th of July project for you created by teammate Nicolle Belesimo.   Nicolle crafted up a fun and festive luminary just in time for celebrating this weekend. But it would make for a great party piece anytime.  Lets check it out.

A great addition to your holiday celebration.  I love it!

3D Thursday - Patriotic Pinwheels!

Happy Thursday, everyone!  I have a fun project for you, just in time for the 4th of July! Teammate Nicolle Belesimo was at the craft table designing for us this week.  You can find more of her craftiness over at Ellocin Designs.  Nicolle designed these super cute Patriotic Pinwheels!  Let's check it out.

These pretty pinwheels will make a great decor piece as we settle into the month of July next month.  (That's crazy how is that even possible?)  It's been such a crazy year for everyone, I do hope we can all just relax a little on the 4th and be thankful.

Nicolle used a star stamp from the stamp set So Much Happy and Cherry Cobbler and Misty Moonlight Ink to stamp the stars onto her DSP.

 By using the 6 x 6 DSP Paper stack no need to cut the paper down, it's already done for you.  Just cut in at the sides like the directions show.  I will note that these do not spin so are only for decor.  But wouldn't they be cute in summer colors too!  I hope you have enjoyed today's project!  now just click on the link below to print them off and make your own!

3D Thursday - Patriotic Mini Paper Pumpkin Box

Good morning crafty friends!  This week it was my turn at the create desk.  And since 4th of July is right around the corner I thought it would be fun to create a Red, White, & Blue project.  Below is what I came up with and if you would like directions to it you are in luck because they are FREE.  All you have to do is click on the link at the bottom of my post to access them.

 This project goes together pretty quick and easy.  The base is actually a Mini Paper Pumpkin Box which you can find in the new Stampin' Up! catalog.

 I used some of the new In Color DSP named Misty Moonlight to cover my box.  Streamers of new and retired ribbons are attached at the back of the box.

I think the funnest part of the project was using our new Foam Adhesive Sheets!  Oh, so fun!  I attached some of a sheet to the back of a Whisper White scrap and cut out my Stitched Star to be attached to my box.  I love the feel and depth it gave to it!  Now if you would like to make one of these fun little decor boxes just click on the link below to print out FREE directions!  If you are in need of some new products I'ld love for you to shop my online store by simply clicking on the shop button in my sidebar.  Thanks for stopping by today!
