Good morning! I'm so excited to finally get to share one of my projects for this round of UStamp Big Shot Brilliance. This round features items that are made with the Big Shot! I chose to make a Barbie quilt and pillows using several of our dies.

Dawn said Barbie needed a headband so...
I even made the bed!...
and of course all our projects have a card and envy to match. All instructions for this project and 40+ can be purchased through this round of UStamp. Click on the blinkie at the top left hand corner of my blog and you can find out more. Have a great day!

Downline Meeting Swaps

So I had a downline meeting yesterday and was so excited to have some of my girls come and stamp with me, and even the ones who couldn't make it sent a swap to share. I'm so excited because now that I'm a senior supervisor we get to have a group name and we "Robin" came up with one that we thought was a good one and pretty much goes with most of us being from small towns. Can't tell you what it is yet because I have to get it Ok'd from SU first...The card at the top of the post is the make-n-take card I had for them to do. Super fun card to make and love the colors! We pucnhed out different sized circles in different colors and glued them down to the base Marina Mist then ran that throught the BS using the Square Lattice embossing folder then added our saying and layered on Whisper White card, added some Daffodile Ribbon and we're done! Can't remember the name of the technique? Inlaid Emboss? I don't know. Oh well let me show you the wonderful swaps from yesterday!
Kelly Wood's Swap, such a fun swap using the new button embosslit die! and Sweet Stitches DSP.
Susie Scott's swap using the Oh so pretty Springtime Vintage DSP and an added accent of a Vintage Flower adornment.
Robin Goens pretty swap using the stamp set Elements of Style and the Square Lattice embossing folder. I love black and white cards.
Shannon Bruner's swap using the very fun stamp set out of the Occasions mini Bold Blossom. Oh Shannon by the way won the swap contest for the month.
Teri Whitaker's swap she made using the fun stamp set Button Button and the pretty Elegant Lines embossing folder. She punched out some of the buttons and as you can see used glossy cardstock to kinda get a tye dyed look of one button, a very fun card.
Joan Breinzer's swap all the way from Pennsylvania. She used a couple of sale-a-bration sets on her swap, So Happy for you and Sweet Summer. I love how she added the little blue flowers to her stem. We miss you Joan!
Here's my card which by the way I cas'd from Mary Fish, I changed up the colors and and added 1/4" circles to the top instead of brads. Also sponged the sides of my petals and popped up the top petal with a dimensional, but glued it down at the bottom. I used the Blossom Petal punch, the stamp sets Sweetheart, Great Friend and the Bigz extra lg die Tasteful Trim. Oh and a little bling.
Just a different little version.
I want to thank all my downline for joining in on the swap and can't wait to do it all over again next month. Happy stampin' to everyone. Have a great day!

Buckets of Inspiration For You

I just love our Stampin' Up Rub-ons! The rub-ons I used are Play Date and Sweet Stitches. Oh what fun to play with and when it includes chocolate well that makes it even better.
I picked up some bright colored buckets at Target Dollar Spot yesterday and couldn't wait to get home and play. I knew just what I was going to do with them. What do you think? I'll be eating out of the sewing bucket today because I'm in need of some sewing inspiration. I hope you have a great day and thanks for stopping by. :)

Warning This Post May Becoming Habit Forming...

I don't know why I waited so long to make one of this fun little Build a Bear tin and Bear. After I began it was like I was possessed. I had to keep at it until she had a full wardrobe!
Here's the inside with Little Bear and all her fun little clothes and accessories.
Here's what I used:
All where Stampin' Up products.
Big Shot, Bear Die, Beary Essentials Die, Oval Scallop Frame, Beary Girl Sizzlet, Square Lattice Embossing Folder
SU Magnetic Strips
Cardstock: So Saffron, Early Espresso, Certainly Celery, Pretty in Pink, Bashful Blue
Melon Mambo DSP from the Brights Collection
Build a Bear DSP (retired) but there is a new version
SU tin from the clearance rack
Tip: (it was hard to run the magnetic strip through with the sizzlet die and it did not cut all the way though on the purse or the bow for the magnet so you might just want to cut out using the cardstock then attach to magnet and then cut by hand since you'll have to go back and do that anyway.)
Hope you don't get addicted to making these or maybe I hope you do! :) Have a great day!

Easter Blossoms in Baja Breeze

Is anyone ready for Spring besides me? Well just maybe this will get you thinking that way. ma This is a card we made at my last two workshops. I just love this set and it's so fun to use, don't you think. I got my inspiration from a card on Stampin' Connection that Karen Leveille had made. Stampin' Connection is a wonderful online place where demos can share ideas, and there are lots of them. If you'd like more info on becoming a demo e-mail me at tjdstampsalot@yahoo.com or better yet go to my demo site and check it out. Have a great day everyone!

Mini Comp Book Purse

Here's a close up I promised you from about a week ago. I found the tutorial for one of these on Becky Roberts blog. She always has the cutest ideas! Here's my version of one. I just made a one inch square cut it down to a triangle and put it up to the inside corners of my book and traced a line. Then started cutting. Cut a few pages at a time and in no time your done. Add DSP to the outside along with some ribbon (6 1/2" lengths) for handles attach with sticky strip. For the closure I used the Modern Label Punch and then put the largest flower from the Boho Blossoms Punch on top of that, a 1/2" circle on top of that and ending with a Vintage Brad on the top. I used a piece of Velcro to close it. I made one of the large purses also I'll post it later. Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
